These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CheckMyDate website and service (the "Service").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use CheckMyDate.

CheckMyDate compiles publicly available information into an easy-to-read report to help you learn more about someone before a first date.

Checks are generated from public web search — not a certified background check. Reports may be incomplete or outdated and should not be treated as a guarantee of a person's identity, character, background or safety. Full limitations are available at checkmydate.com.au/about.

Free reports run without an account are available for 24 hours after they are generated and are then permanently deleted. To keep a report, you must create an account before the 24-hour period ends.

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to provide accurate and current information when creating your account and to keep your details up to date.

You may delete individual reports from your history or request deletion of your account at any time.

You agree not to use CheckMyDate for any unlawful, harmful, harassing, discriminatory or stalking purpose, or to intimidate, threaten or harm any person.

You should only submit information that you are legally permitted to use. You are solely responsible for how you use any report generated through the Service.

You must not attempt to access, disrupt or compromise the Service, its systems or the data of others.

Your first CheckMyDate report is free. Additional reports are charged at the price displayed on the Service at the time of purchase.

Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider. You authorise us to charge the applicable fees through that provider for any report you purchase.

Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable once a report has been generated.

The Service, including its design, branding and content, is owned by CheckMyDate and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, redistribute or create derivative works from the Service without our prior written consent.

Reports are provided for your personal, non-commercial use.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude any warranties or representations that the Service will be accurate, complete, reliable, uninterrupted or error-free.

Reports are generated from public web search and AI-assisted analysis and may contain incomplete or outdated information. You should independently verify any information before relying on it.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CheckMyDate will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
